Dubai’s biggest celebration of gaming is levelling up for its sixth run, with a new citywide programme in the mix
The Dubai Esports & Games Festival is back from 9 to 25 April 2027, and its sixth edition is going bigger.
Building on the success of its 2026 run, DEF 2027 expands into a citywide programme with more ways to play, compete, learn and connect.
Leading the new additions is Dubai Games Week, alongside enhanced education, esports and industry-focused experiences.
Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, the festival continues to grow Dubai’s gaming and esports ecosystem, bringing together communities, talent and industry.
Closing things out is flagship event GameExpo, running 23 to 25 April 2027 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Across three days, expect high-energy competitions, community experiences, immersive entertainment and industry engagement, with an expanded programme built for 2027.
