Masfout’s mountain trails are set for another test of endurance, skill and two-wheeled determination
The Masfout Mountain Bike Challenge 2026 returns to Masfout, Ajman, on 25 October, giving riders the chance to tackle one of the UAE’s more distinctive mountain courses.
Now in its fifth official edition, the race combines rocky landscapes, varied terrain and competitive mountain biking in Ajman’s higher-altitude Masfout region.
Elite and e-bike riders will take on a 33km course across three laps, while the beginner category covers 22km over two laps.
Each lap features around 423 metres of elevation gain, with climbs becoming particularly demanding towards the final kilometres.
The course mixes rugged, gravel and sandy sections with smoother stretches and intermittent inclines.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers, adding another competitive edge to the challenge.
Participants will also receive race essentials including timing, live results, a medal, certificate, refreshments and a race T-shirt.
The event forms part of a wider UAE mountain biking series aimed at growing the sport and bringing riders into the country’s natural landscapes.
