This iconic race is back with three distances
The Dubai Marathon 2027 is officially open for registration, with the 26th edition set to take place.
Runners can choose between the classic 42.195KM marathon, a 10KM Road Race and a 4KM Fun Run.
The race has welcomed more than 400,000 runners over its 25-year history, cementing its place as one of the region’s biggest running events.
This year’s edition attracted 19,388 participants from 151 countries, with international runners making up a record 39% of the field.
The 2027 race will once again bring elite athletes and amateur runners together on the streets of Dubai.
Earlier this year, Ethiopia’s Nibret Melak claimed a sixth consecutive win for a debut runner, finishing in 2:04:00.
Fellow Ethiopian Anchinalu Dessie won the women’s race in a personal best of 2:18:31.
