The Arab World’s largest celebration of the written and spoken word, is coming up
The countdown for Emirates Litfest is on, with the event starting on 21 January and running until 27 January at the InterContinental Hotel in Dubai.
It will feature international and regional writers, thinkers and speakers from all over the globe, all coming together in the name of reading.
This year’s guests include the New York Times bestselling author of Yellowface, RF Kuang; Samantha Shannon, the writer behind the bestselling The Bone Season; and Asma Khan, a London-based restaurateur and the star of Netflix’s Chef’s Table.
Other exciting features include live sessions of Dungeons & Dragons, where you can join a five-player team for a one-off campaign; and a talk by British TV presenter Naga Munchetty, discussing her debut book It’s Probably Nothing.
