Mina Cup Dubai 2024

The Mina Cup in Dubai is expected to attract over 40 domestic and international teams

Over 700 football players from all corners of the world are expected to descend on Dubai at the beginning of April as the 3rd annual Mina Cup takes place again this year.

Building on personal experience of the great tournaments like the Milk Cup in Ireland, and other famous European youth competitions, the Mina Cup will blend Arabic heritage with European experience to create a truly unforgettable experience for all players, coaches and families involved.

An opening ceremony will kick off proceedings on 4 April at the JA Beach Hotel, Palmito Garden and the event will be run over three days at the JA Sports Centre & Shooting Club & Precision Football.

It is a juvenile competition which hands players the platform to showcase their abilities with 40 teams involved overall. Some of the more prominent clubs involved include Premiership club Newcastle United, Atlas from Mexico, Chicago Fire from the States and others from India, Qatar, Ethiopia, Mali and New York.

Former Manchester and English legend Teddy Sheringham is the ambassador of the competition and will be present at the event to cast a watching eye over the next generation of talent in the region and beyond.

It promises to be a joyous occasion filled with international flair and an ideal opportunity for these youngsters to stake a claim for their future and perhaps carve out a career at one of the world’s top clubs.
