Rotana wins ‘Best Hotel Brand in the Middle East’ award

The accolade recognises the hotel operator’s ongoing commitment to growth and excellence amid a challenging hospitality landscape  

Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the region with hotels across the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Turkey, has won the ‘Best Hotel Brand in the Middle East’ award for the fourth consecutive year at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2020.

Rotana President and CEO Guy Hutchinson accepted the award on behalf of the company at a highly anticipated virtual award ceremony attended by hundreds of virtual guests from around the world.

Rotana has a portfolio of 68 hotels, operates more than 17,798 rooms in 24 cities across 14 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Turkey. The group has plans to deepen and expand its brand presence in the UAE and leading markets globally.

Despite the impact of Covid-19, Rotana continued to achieve expansion milestones in over the past year, including entry into the Moroccan market, a seventh property opening in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a further market entry into East Africa.

Hosted by the region’s leading travel and hospitality magazine, Business Traveller Middle East, the ‘Business Traveller Middle East Awards’ is now in its ninth year. The awards celebrate the region’s best companies in business travel and hospitality sectors, and are voted for by the magazine’s readers.
