There are now greater shopportunities for residents living in the Khlaifa City area of Abu Dhabi.
Lulu Group has launched its latest “state-of-the-art” hypermarket at Khalifa City in Abu Dhabi, increasing its total store count to 195 globally.
The new store, Located in the heart of Khalifa City at Forsan Central Mall, on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi, was inaugurated by His Excellency Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) & Member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council in the presence of His Excellency Saeed Al Bahri Salem Al Ameri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Agriculture & Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), Yusuff Ali MA, Chairman & MD of Lulu Group and other dignitaries.
The new160,000 sq ft hypermarket is ascetically hypermarket has been designed by “top” international designers, to include wooden ceiling elements, neutral-coloured fixtures and modern patterns that merge contemporary and industrial styles.
On the occasion, Yusuff Ali MA, said: “We are glad to see another beautiful store opening that will cater to our loyal patrons living in Khalifa City and its adjoining neighbourhoods, which include Mohamed bin Zayed City, Al Falah, Yas Island, Al Raha etc.
Categories at the new store include grocery, fresh food, meat and fish, bakery, dairy, pizza and snacks, hot food, roastery, and a delicatessen, fashion, health and beauty variety, household needs, garments, footwear, electronics, home appliances, and much more.
The Abu Dhabi based Lulu has announced that it is marching ahead with its expansion plans despite the challenges faced due to COVID-19 pandemic across the world.
It has opened seven hypermarkets in different regions in this year till now (between June to October) along with a dedicated fulfilment center in Abu Dhabi for its e-commerce operations. In the UAE alone, more than 20 hypermarkets are lined up to open in the coming years.
