The Art of Recycling exhibition is now open at Abu Dhabi Mall and you have to see it

Expect to see some stunning artworks in the capital.

Culture vultures, esteemed aesthetes and everyone who admires art, The Art of Recycling exhibition is officially open at Abu Dhabi Mall.

Showcasing some 120 stunning pieces of artwork, the exhibition draws together some of the finest works created using recycled and upcycled materials by the people of Abu Dhabi.

Ranging from mighty motorbikes and terrific tin-can cameras to kaleidoscopic canvasses and debonair dresses, visitors in Abu Dhabi Mall will be able to peruse, admire and critique the pieces that are located in Abu Dhabi Mall’s Main Atrium on Level 1.

The pieces on display have been selected from more than 350 entries who took part in The Yalla – Abu Dhabi Life and Abu Dhabi Mall’s The Art of Recycling competition.

Each contestant was asked to show their passion for the environment and creative flair by creating an artwork that was crafted from recycled or upcycled goods.

The main aim of the competition was to inspire and raise awareness among members of the public to increase their knowledge and skills on the values and actions required to create a sustainable world which ensures environmental protection and conservation, and encourages economic sustainability.

And the results as you will see when you come to Abu Dhabi Mall, are incredible.
