However areas around Burj Lake, as well as access to the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, will remain open
The Dubai Fountain, one of the city’s most iconic attractions, will undergo a major renovation, shutting down for five months starting in May.
The updates promise to take the breathtaking water show to new heights with cutting-edge technology, improved choreography, and upgraded sound and lighting systems, all designed to make the experience even more immersive and spectacular.
While the fountain itself will be closed for renovation, the areas around Burj Lake, as well as access to the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, will remain open to the public.
Since its creation by Emaar in 2005 and grand opening in 2009, the Dubai Fountain has become a global sensation, drawing crowds with its mesmerising displays.

It is the largest of its kind in the world, capable of shooting water 152 meters into the air and spanning an impressive 274 meters in length.
The fountain’s 6,600 lights and 25 color projectors work in perfect harmony to produce stunning performances set to music from legends like Adele, Luciano Pavarotti, Lionel Richie, Edith Piaf, and even K-pop sensations like Exo.
The renovations are set to make this already world-class attraction even more awe-inspiring, enhancing both the artistry and technology that have made it a must-see spectacle in the heart of Dubai.
