According to a report in the local press, the UAE Lottery is planning to roll out ticket sales at supermarkets, convenience stores, and fuel stations, making it more accessible than ever, according to national press.
Currently, lottery tickets can only be purchased online, but that’s set to change soon.
In the report in Khaleej Times, Bishop Woosley, director of Lottery Operations at The Game – the operator behind the UAE Lottery – was reported to have confirmed that an expansion into retail spaces is in the works.
While there’s no official launch date yet, the goal is to create a seamless lottery experience where customers can pick up tickets at checkout, from ticket vending machines, or at dedicated lottery terminals, the report said.
The UAE Lottery, which launched late last year with a staggering AED 100 million jackpot, is already a hit among players.

Ticket holders can enter draws for prizes ranging from AED 100 to AED 100 million, with options to select their own numbers or use a random generator. Scratch cards are also available, offering top prizes of AED 1 million.

The report noted that Woosley hinted that more games are coming soon, both online and in physical retail locations.
The lottery will also be launching a dedicated app, making it even easier for players to purchase tickets, check results, and explore new games, it was reported.
