Private sector employees to get paid holidays from 30 March to 1 April 2025

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has officially confirmed the Eid Al Fitr holiday dates for private-sector workers in 2025.

In a post on X, MoHRE announced that the holidays will run from Sunday 30 March to Tuesday 1 April, with paid leave for employees in the private sector.

However, if the first day of Eid falls on Monday 31 March, the holiday will be extended to Wednesday  2 April. The start of Eid Al Fitr depends on the sighting of the moon, which will determine the final day of Ramadan.

This follows the announcement of Eid holidays for the public sector, ensuring that all workers in the UAE can enjoy this special time with family and friends.
