The MICHELIN Guide ceremony returns to Dubai

Michelin guide ceremony 2025

Get ready for a night of culinary magic at the upcoming MICHELIN Guide ceremony

The MICHELIN Guide is back in Dubai for its fourth edition, and this year’s prestigious ceremony is set to dazzle at the stunning Address Sky View on Thursday, 22 May.

This is the ultimate celebration of Dubai’s ever-evolving food scene, a city that’s quickly becoming one of the world’s hottest gastronomic destinations.

And with the MICHELIN Guide’s seal of approval, Dubai’s spot on the global culinary map just got a whole lot shinier.

Backed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), this invite-only soirée isn’t just about honouring the best and brightest, it’s about recognising the creativity, innovation, and deep respect for local flavours that define the city’s culinary scene.

Whether it’s a humble eatery serving soul-soothing bites or a high-concept fine-dining experience, Dubai’s dining culture has never been more exciting.

What’s in a star?

If you’re new to the MICHELIN scene, here’s a quick breakdown:

One MICHELIN Star means “high-quality cooking worth a stop”

Two Stars signify “excellent cooking worth a detour”

Three Stars? That’s “exceptional cuisine worth a special journey”; the culinary holy grail.

In addition to the much-coveted stars, the Bib Gourmand category highlights eateries offering amazing food at great prices, because great dining doesn’t have to be expensive.

Each restaurant is judged by the same five universal MICHELIN criteria: ingredient quality, mastery of technique, harmony of flavors, the chef’s personality in the dish, and consistency across visits. So yes, every plate tells a story.

A toast to great taste

The night wouldn’t be complete without a little indulgence. Guests at this year’s ceremony will be treated to a premium mixed drinks reception, where some of the top names in the culinary world will be serving up exquisite bites and showcasing their artistry live.

Here’s a sneak peek at who’s cooking:

Il Ristorante – Niko Romito (Two MICHELIN Stars, Dubai 2024)

L’Argine a Vencò (One MICHELIN Star, Italy 2025)

moonrise (One MICHELIN Star, Dubai 2024)

DUO Gastrobar (Bib Gourmand, Dubai 2024)

3Fils (Bib Gourmand, Dubai 2024)
