Celebrate the Hijri New Year with free parking and extended public transport hours

Great news for Dubai residents and visitors!

To mark the Hijri New Year, all public parking zones (excluding multi-level terminals) across the city will be absolutely FREE on Friday, 27 June.

Take full advantage of the holiday without worrying about parking fees; normal charges will resume on Saturday, June 28.

In celebration of the occasion, RTA’s customer happiness centres and vehicle testing centres will take a break on Friday.

But don’t worry; if you need assistance, the smart customer happiness centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, and the RTA head office will remain open 24/7, ensuring round-the-clock support.

Public transport services are also getting a festive boost:

Dubai Metro: Running extended hours from 5am-1am

Dubai Tram: Operating from 6am-1am

Plus, RTA has revised the schedules for public buses and marine transport to better accommodate your holiday plans and travel needs.

Whether you’re exploring the city or heading to celebrations, getting around will be easier than ever.

Enjoy the holiday, and Happy Hijri New Year from the RTA!
