Opening in August 2026, Ash Mount School in Mudon will offer an international curriculum for Pre-KG-Grade 12
A brand-new international school is set to join Dubai’s expanding education landscape.
Opening in August 2026, Ash Mount School in Mudon will welcome students from Pre-KG to Grade 8, expanding year by year until it offers a full programme through to Grade 12.
The school will open for the 2026/27 academic year and will provide an inquiry-based international curriculum that combines academic excellence, wellbeing, and global citizenship. When fully operational, the campus will accommodate up to 2,400 students across all year groups.
Ash Mount’s arrival comes as Dubai’s private school sector continues to grow, now educating more than 387,000 students across 227 schools and 17 curricula, according to the KHDA.
The school is the latest project from Interstar Advisory Services, the group behind several well-established Dubai schools — including Victory Heights Primary School (KHDA Outstanding), South View School (KHDA Good) and Delhi Private School Dubai (KHDA Very Good).
Location and community
Located in Mudon, Ash Mount School is ideally placed for families in Arabian Ranches, DAMAC Hills, Mira, Town Square, Motor City and Dubai Sports City, offering a world-class education close to home.
The school aims to serve as a community hub. Its design reinforces this community ethos, with features such as scooter and bike racks, pedestrian-friendly crossings, and easy access points that make it safe and convenient for families to walk or ride from nearby homes.
Curriculum and learning pathways
Ash Mount School will offer an international learning pathway that integrates global best practice with the rigour of the English National Curriculum and UAE requirements.
- Primary School (Pre-KG – Grade 5): hands-on learning and inquiry skills that build curiosity and confidence
- Middle School (Grades 6 – 10): interdisciplinary thinking and global connections that strengthen critical thinking
- Senior School (Grades 11 – 12): academic and career pathways preparing students for university, leadership and life
Vision and leadership
At the heart of Ash Mount School is Founding Principal Abigail Fishbourne, an educator with more than 30 years’ leadership experience across the UK and the Middle East.
A former senior leader at Raha International School Khalifa City, she says she has spent her career “shaping schools that prioritise both learning and belonging.”
“Founding Ash Mount is an opportunity to design a school with intention from day one,” she explains. “Forward-looking, deeply human, and rooted in community.”
Teachers will be selected globally, based on professional qualifications and relevant experience.
In the early years, class sizes will be limited to approximately 20 students in Pre-KG and KG1, increasing to around 25 students per class from KG2 upwards.
