The three-day extravaganza, which started on the evening of 13 May in celebration of Eid al-Fitr, saw the launching of fireworks for the first time from Yas Bay Waterfront.
The yearly array of pyrotechnics has become one of the most anticipated celebrations in the UAE, with Yas Island livestreaming the spectacle of lights on its Instagram channel, since gatherings are prohibited in line with the island’s precautionary measures.
