Eid four-day holiday now confirmed

Your chance to unwind and explore the capital!

It’s almost upon us as Eid Al Adha gets closer and now the dates have been confirmed.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced that the paid holiday of Eid Al Adha for the private sector will start on 9th Dhu al-Hijjah (Day of Arafat).

You’ll be able to take off Monday, 19 July and will end on Thursday 22 July, taking you into the weekend, so in effect, that’s a rather generous six days off to spend with family and friends.

In celebration of this annual event, Yas Island promises to light up with a spectacular three-day firework show, which can be streamed live online.

There are lots of other activities you can partake in too.

Staying on Yas Island, 100s of rides and attractions await at the UAE’s best theme parks.  Not only that, kids go free, so there is not better time to head to Yas island and enjoy a vaycay of a life time.

And now that you have plenty of time, there’s no excuse!

This a good time to check Yalla – Abu Dhabi Life Event’s page too, since there is so much going on UAE wide!

Eid Mubarak from Team Yalla.
