Here’s just four art centres to help kickstart you and your little one’s artistic curiosity.
The heart of the city
Qasr Al Hosn is the oldest and most significant building in Abu Dhabi.
Luckily for us, The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi has made sure that this epic district of downtown Abu Dhabi is infused with life and vibrancy so visitors like you get to experience history in real time.
And the great thing is that, while there is lots to explore in terms of heritage, Qasr Al Hosn is also home to art and culture on one heaving city block.
Heart of arts
Founded in 1981 and part of Qasr Al Hosn, this hub of creativity launched the careers of many Emirati artists.
The Foundation now hosts the Abu Dhabi Children’s Library, a 900-seat theatre, and workshops for calligraphy, art, research, exhibitions, and cultural learning and is expected again to become a hub for art and culture, adding to the city’s other cultural offerings such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Manarat Al Saadiyat.

The international art superstar
The internationally acclaimed Louvre Abu Dhabi has so much to offer with international art and culture right at your finger tips here on Saadiyat island, Abu Dhabi.
Running till May 23, Emotions! The New Art Adventure is the perfect activity for the kids to explore art, interactive installations and other fantastic activities while getting to identify and express their emotions in a fun and safe environment.
For the grown-ups, you get the chance to breeeeathe under the Museum’s dome with these relaxing yoga sessions run by Body Tree Studio every Saturday and Sunday.

Art pulse
Set in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s Cultural District on Saadiyat Island, Manarat Al Saadiyat (MAS) invites you to get inspired while exploring a diverse range of artistic expressions.
Discover exhibitions, exchange ideas, attend talks and immerse yourself in art workshops and afterwards, take a break in LARTE Ristorante, which has the most gorgeous terrace, weather permitting of course.
