The branch will be run by People of Determination.
The Bee Café has opened the doors of its new venue at the Department of Health (DOH) headquarters.
The café, which is affiliated with the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO), is entirely run and managed by people with special needs.
Open daily from 8am to 5pm, a range of speciality coffees as well as snacks made by Ali Al Za’abi will be available to enjoy.
Speaking at the opening, Abdullah Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of ZHO, said the launch of The Bee Café’s second outlet will help more People of Determination to learn skills and express themselves creatively.
He said: “With the support of our strategic partner, the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, today we witness the opening of the Bee Café, one of our most innovative projects to date.
“We are thrilled to witness the journey of five People of Determination to be part of the team at the new branch of the café; this will undoubtedly allow them to unleash their creativity and skills while helping them integrate with society.”
The other branch of The Bee Café is located at the headquarters of the ZHO in AL Mafraq City.
