Resulting in a three-day weekend, the holiday will mark the birthday of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).
The news follows hot on the heels that Government employees are to receive a paid annual leave at the end of the month to celebrate Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) birthday.
It was also announced that all employees will return to work on Sunday 24 October.
After the birthday of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), there are only two more public holidays for 2021; Commemoration Day on 1 December and UAE National Day on 2 December.
