Treat yourself to a free wellness programme in Abu Dhabi

Practice yoga and meditation at Umm Al Emarat Park.

It’s always important to take time out of your day to focus on yourself and starting from this Wednesday (14 October) at 6.30pm, Abu Dhabians can have some ‘me time’ at Umm Al Emarat Park.

Launching a wellness programme in collaboration with Inner Space Centre, Seven Wellness and Flo Studio, the park will provide four free meditation or yoga sessions for visitors per month until April 2022.

Speaking on the announcement, head of Umm Al Emarat Park’s corporate affairs and communication department, Rahsa Kablawi, said the programme will connect residents to the nature and outdoors.

She said: “As the capital’s favorite green destination, we know how connected our guests and communities are to nature and the outdoors. We have always promoted the importance of nature and its intrinsic value on mental health and physical wellbeing.

“We are very happy to launch this program in collaboration with our partners who are all specialists in their respective fields. We encourage community members to participate in this program for its importance on the mental health wellbeing.”

Flo Studio sessions will see participants develop awareness and mindfulness through movement and stillness.

With Inner Space Centre, visitors will improve their clarity of mind, decision making skills and resilience through meditation and with Seven Wellness, yogis will be able to release tightness, gain strength, balance the body and focus the mind as one intentionally unites breath with movement.
