Abu Dhabi schools to return to classroom from next week

The new measure comes into effect from Monday 24 January.

Abu Dhabi schools will return to the classroom from next week it has been announced.

The measure revealed by the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee will see KG/FS Grades 1-5/ Years 2-6, Grade 12/ Year 13 and higher education institution students and students preparing for national and international exams will be back at school from Monday 24 January.

 

 

Remote learning will continue for Grade 6-11/Years 7-12 until Monday 31 January.

All returning students will need to present a negative PCR test not exceeding 96 hours.

Teaching and administrative staff must also present negative PCR test not exceeding 96 hours on their Al Hosn app.

Students have been learning remotely since the start of term due to the raise in confirmed COVID-19 cases in the UAE.
