World-famous Tough Mudder is coming to the UAE and here is where you can compete

The races take place on 26 February and 19 March.

Jeep Tough Mudder events are returning to the UAE this year, offering you the chance to get your hands on that famous orange headband.

Taking place in Umm Al Quwain’s Mangrove Beach and Fujairah’s Adventure Park on Saturday 26 February and Saturday 19 March respectively, you can test your body and mental toughness in an exciting team challenges with two different course routes from which to choose; 5km or 10km.

‘Mudders’ can expect to contend with world-class obstacles including the Pyramid Scheme which requires teamwork and maximum effort to scramble up the slippery slope; the Spread Eagle that tests both balance and agility as Mudders need to stay balanced on a tight rope style challenge while suspended over water; and Cage Crawl where you will have to use your upper body strength to cling on overhead and keep moving through 60-inches of water with only six inches of air space.

Organised by Sabco Sports in partnership with Tough Mudder, one of the toughest races in the world, will see those taking on the 5km course tackle 13 plus obstacles whereas those brave enough to take on the 10km, will battle 25 plus obstacles.

Tickets are now on sale for the events and you can get your hands on them by visiting Tough Mudder Arabia.

The Tough Mudder Arabia events are not the only endurance challenges that are happening in Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah in the coming weeks.

You can also take on the Spartan Trail Arabia which returns to the UAE after debuting last November.
