How to Make Luqaimat
Recipe
- 125g All-purpose flour
- 6.25g Sugar
- 2.5g Dry yeast
- 1.25g Cardamom powder
- 12.5g Cornflour
- 1.25g Salt
- 0.5g Saffron
- 10ml Corn oil
- 10ml Evaporated milk
- 87.5ml Warm water
Method
- Mix ingredients together in a large mixing bowl
- Cover and leave for 45 minutes
- Fry lightly for a few minutes
- Remove, and fry again until light brown
- Drain and drizzle with date syrup
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds
