Irish and Emirati artists come together in Dubai to celebrate art, music and poetry

This October, Dubai’s art scene will sparkle with a cross-cultural celebration like no other.

Beyond Boundaries, a landmark one-night exhibition, brings together the creative voices of Ireland and the UAE in a dazzling fusion of visual art, literature, and music.

Set against the industrial-chic backdrop of The Warehouse Gallery, Al Quoz, on Thursday, 30 October 2025, the event promises an evening where creativity truly transcends borders.

Curated by Gemma Gallagher and Dr. Miriam Walsh, in conjunction with the Dubai Irish Society, Beyond Boundaries gathers both established and emerging artists from across the region.

Visitors can expect fresh, never-before-seen works from talents like Almaha Jaralla, Khawlah Abu Saleh, Moosa Alhalyan, Laura Mulligan, and Gemma Gallagher.

These masterpieces will be exploring themes that connect both nations: heritage, transformation, resilience, and the collective pride that bridges cultures.

But art is only the beginning. This is a full sensory experience.

Live music will blend the haunting melodies of traditional Irish instruments with rich Middle Eastern rhythms, while spoken word and poetry by Emirati and Irish writers, crafted especially for the occasion, will stir hearts and spark conversation.

As guests wander the gallery, they’ll find themselves immersed in a vibrant dialogue of cultures, a space where creativity becomes a bridge between worlds.

Beyond Boundaries is more than an exhibition; it is a symbol of friendship, unity, and mutual respect.

Diplomats, artists, and cultural leaders will gather under one roof, sharing ideas and forging new connections in an evening that celebrates the power of imagination to unite people.

So if you’re a lover of art, music, literature, or simply seeking an unforgettable evening of cultural exchange, Beyond Boundaries is set to mark a defining moment in Irish–Emirati collaboration, proving that creativity knows no borders.

Thursday, 30 October 2025, 6–9pm, The Warehouse Gallery, Al Quoz, Dubai. For further information, follow @gem_artist on IG
