Celebrate Irish heritage with an unforgettable night of visual art, poetry and live music at The Warehouse, Al Quoz
Dubai will play host to a vibrant celebration of Irish creativity, culture, and literary legacy this June with Bloomsday & Beyond; a special art exhibition presented by the Irish Embassy of the UAE in collaboration with the Dubai Irish Society.
Taking place on Friday, 27 June from 7–10pm at The Warehouse in Al Quoz, the event marks a unique moment for art lovers and literary enthusiasts alike to experience the powerful influence of Ireland’s cultural heritage.
The exhibition brings together the works of ten Irish artists, showcasing a wide spectrum of styles, mediums, and interpretations.
At the heart of the show lies a tribute to one of Ireland’s most celebrated literary icons, James Joyce, with the event timed to honour Bloomsday, the annual celebration of his seminal novel Ulysses.

Curated by Gemma Gallagher, an award-winning artist and Arts Officer of the Dubai Irish Society, the show promises an immersive and evocative experience.
Gallagher will also unveil her new collection of paintings, exploring themes of identity, nostalgia, and modern Irish life.

Alongside her work, visitors can expect to see striking pieces by prominent Irish talents including Anna McKeown, Joseph McKeever, and Laura Mulligan, each contributing their unique visual voice to the celebration.
In addition to the art on display, Bloomsday & Beyond will feature live music performances and poetry recitations, creating a dynamic, multi-sensory evening.
