It is not long until the inaugural Semi Permanent Middle East festival kicks off and there is even more news about which to get excited.
Giving an intimate talk about his work and collaborations at the creativity and design festival, famed artist and architect, Daniel Arsham will be on the stage this Friday (15 October).
Known for his high-profile collaborations with brands like Adidas, Dior Men, Rimowa and Porsche, Arsham will be discussing his creative process and his recent projects, including a global collaboration with jewellery house Tiffany & Co.
The 41-year-old artist in just the latest addition to the festival that will see the likes of British superstar DJ Mark Ronson spinning the decks at W Abu Dhabi Yas Island this Thursday (14 October) and the world’s first international pop-by New York restaurant and bar The Flower Shop.
Further additions to the event organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi include Saudi Arabian artist, explorer and researcher Moath Alofi, lifestyle brand Lucy Folk whose celebrity collaborations include Beyonce, Elle Fanning, Gia Coppola and Margot Robbie and a showcase of surfboards by Aussie designer Hayden Cox of Haydenshapes.
Tickets can be purchased online at Semi Permanent Middle East for the three-day event that runs from 14 to 16 October.
