One of the capital’s most popular cultural destinations, the Grand Mosque closed its doors in March earlier this year, in response to the pandemic.
The Founder’s Memorial also reopened today for visitors. Located in the West Corniche area close to Emirates Palace, the memorial offers a moving tribute to the late His Highness Sheikh Zayed.
Other places of worship across the UAE are set to open in the coming weeks.
