There’s so much culture to see, do and soak up in the coming weeks at the capital’s coveted museum that it’d be crime not to visit
Louvre Abu Dhabi has got so much going on and what’s even better is the museum has rolled out loads of offers, many of which are free, to entice you through the doors.
So what’s on offer!
Saluting Abu Dhabi teachers

will get to visit as many times as they like for less than the price of two regular visits with the museum’s year-long passes. The unlimited pass, which can be purchased at the membership desk, costs just AED 120 for the year and is valid for one person only.
Benefits include:
- Unlimited access to Louvre Abu Dhabi’s collections and galleries for one year
- Unlimited access to four major special exhibitions per year
- Access to a range of vibrant cultural programmes including performances, workshops, mini-tours and family weekends
- Access to the museum facilities including the Museum Café, Art Lounge and Museum Boutique
A walk through the ages
Walk through world history as it happened when you explore Louvre Abu Dhabi’s galleries. Discover the twelve chapters, spanning prehistoric to contemporary periods, highlighting the characteristics shared by humanity throughout its history.
Discover the stories linking these objects and watch how they reveal a universal history of humankind’s social, intellectual and technical exchanges around the world, and the interdependency of our societies.
At your last stop, make your exit under the museum’s iconic dome and feel the Rain of Light on your skin. Reflect on travelling through different areas by seeking out hidden terraces and beautiful hidden spots surrounded by the waters of the Arabian Gulf. Here’s how to book and plan your visit.
Showing taxi drivers the love
We all love culture and art, including Abu Dhabi taxi drivers who ferry us from place to place city and emirate wide. Now it’s payback time and Abu Dhabi Louvre is offering free entry for taxi drivers along with three family members or friends.
The offer is valid until the end of 2020 and only for UAE taxi drivers, who must present their ID at the desk to avail the offer, as well as being present to receive the complimentary access for their guests.

Get your little ones reading
It’s good to get the kids reading at an early age to instil lifelong habits. And we think this book is just the ticket to start them on that journey, as well as getting their creative juices going.
13 Art Materials Children Should Know, the name of the book, shows young readers how the materials artists use in their work have evolved over the centuries around the world. The earliest artist’s pieces of ivory, wooden sticks, and wielded bones to form works that tell us much about how ancient civilisations lived and thought. Additionally, you can also visit our online boutique for our most popular curated collectibles and souvenirs of the museum and its renowned collection!
