The art installation is by renowned British artist and set designer Es Devlin and is located on the mangroves in Jubail Island.
The show Seeds of the Union, the centerpiece for the UAE 49th UAE National Day, was centred on the mangrove tree and nature and livestreamed on television on 2 December.

The revolving, glowing cube is now a public artwork. Tickets cost AED 30 for adults and AED 15 for visitors under 17. The proceeds will go towards a mangrove conservation project.
