Warehouse421 announces artists for exhibition development programme

Recipients will be awarded more than AED 30,000.

The results are in and Warehouse421 has chosen its three recipients of the Artistic Exhibition Development Programme.

Ammar Al Attar, Mohammed Khalid and Jill Magi have been put forward to participate in the scheme where they will be supported by experienced art educators and curators towards producing a new body of work to be displayed in solo shows at Warehouse421 in 2022.

The successful trio will receive a AED 10,000 participation fee and a AED 24,000 production fee in addition to their own solo exhibition next year.

The Warehouse421 Artistic Developmental Exhibition programme, is part of Warehouse421 series of open-calls for the year 2021, which includes; the Artistic Research Grant, the Curatorial Developmental Exhibition programme, Warehouse421 Homebound Residency programme, and the internship and mentorship programme, all designed to support emerging practitioners.
