Cookies, hot chocolate and movies.
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas and one Abu Dhabi establishment is promising 12 wonderful nights in the build-up towards the big day.
The capital’s oldest Irish bar, PJ O’Reilly’s, is rolling out the movie projector and dusting off the video tapes to bring to Abu Dhabians, 12 Christmas movie nights.
From 12 to 24 December, cinephiles can enjoy some of the most beloved festive films on a massive outdoor screen on at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi’s pretty outdoor terrace while snuggling into a bean bag with a hot chocolate and a Christmas cookie (free for children under 12).
And should you be in the mood for something more substantial, you can grab a bite to eat from PJ’s pool menu or from the food truck on site.
Running from 7pm to 10pm, the event is free and based on a first come, first seated basis.
