Christmas Tree Lighting
A splendid evening is in store for those heading to this luxurious hotel on Saadiyat on 9 December. The festive feeling will be provided in abundance at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort as you enjoy mulled grape, Christmas cookies, mince pies and other traditional home-made festive bites. And we have it on good authority the big man in red will be dropping in for a visit from 5pm to 7pm.
A Moveable Feast at The Drawing Room
Leave the cooking and dishes for one evening and allow The Drawing Room chefs to take care of the festive dinner this December. Prepared and cooked at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, A Moveable Feast offers you the opportunity to experience the delicious tastes of The Drawing Room in the comfort of your own home. Gather your family and friends around your dining table and tuck into a slow-roasted herb turkey, complete with the usual festive suspects of chestnut and sage stuffing and a wide range of trimmings and sides. And for a sweet finish, indulge in a moreish dessert.
Orders can be collected from 9am to 9pm and must be made 24 hours in advance.
The Gingerbread House Workshop at Oléa
Build your house of sweet dreams on 10 December at Oléa’s Gingerbread House Workshop. Providing all the delicious building blocks, kids can craft their own home sweet home before embracing a Tiny Afternoon Tea from 3pm to 5.30pm.
Bubbles & Joy at The Manhattan Lounge
Sprinkle some style on your festive celebrations this Christmas with an evening at The Manhattan Lounge. Sample sweet and savoury nibbles while relaxing in the sophisticated surrounds of an elegant lounge bar and sip on three glasses of bubbly for an experience of Yuletide happiness.
Festive Afternoon Tea at The Drawing Room
Treat yourself this Christmas to an indulgent Festive Afternoon Tea at The Drawing Room. Bite into an exquisite assortment of scrumptious treats including stollen bites, warm Christmas pudding and clementine pavlova alongside warm traditional scones. And while you are satisfying your quivering sweet teeth, sip on loose leaf teas and barista-style coffees from 2pm to 6pm for a delightful evening this December.
Coa at Sontaya
Upgrade your Christmas night out with a Mexican twist at the chic Sontaya. Serving up Mexican mixed drinks, sample the aromatic tastes of beverages infused with agave, fruits and touched with Thai spices. Available until 30 December, warm your cockles on those cool winter nights from 6pm to midnight.
Christmas Eve Dinner at Oléa
Don’t wait until Christmas Day to experience a Christmas feast. On the night before Christmas, Oléa will be welcoming you to take in a special Christmas Eve Dinner in surrounds replete with white marble décor, ocean views and a live pianist. And when you have finished marveling at your beautiful environment and taken your seat, please your palate with a host of Christmas favourites from around the globe such as seafood, roast turkey, Beef Wellington and more from the Josper oven from 7pm to 11pm.
Christmas Day Brunch at Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi
A lavish Christmas Day feast awaits gastronomes at Buddha-Bar Abu Dhabi on 25 December. You can indulge in a delectable selection of plates including sushi, robata grills, ceviche and festive desserts while taking in the sounds of a live DJ and saxophonist from 1pm and 4pm. And when 4pm ticks around, head outside to the terrace and watch the sun go down over Saadiyat Island.
The Grand Opus New Year’s Eve Experience
Three exceptional venues and three exceptional nights are in store at St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort this New Year’s Eve. Dive into a grand festive buffet at The Sparkling Soirée at Oléa where you can dine on international delicacies while enjoying the stylings of a two-piece band.
Look fabulous at Shimmer & Shine at Sontaya as you in take the sultry sounds of the saxophonist and feast upon set menu of Pan-Asia’s finest dishes.
Or Ignite the Night at Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi by admiring the beautiful Saadiyat sands and shimmering Arabian Gulf as make your way through a set menu of expertly crafted dishes from the Pacific Ring.
