October book of the month b kathy urban " a tree for everyone"

Here’s how to enter our Book of the Month competition in partnership with Bookworm Dubai this October

To celebrate our heartwarming October Book of the Month, A Tree for Everyone, we invite young readers across the UAE to take part in a special art competition.

Written by award-winning local author Kathy Urban and beautifully illustrated by Rosie Butcher, this brand-new picture book is a touching story about friendship, teamwork, and the power of a heartfelt apology.

Set around an old oak tree, two groups of children find themselves at odds. As angry words bring playtime to a halt, they must learn to overcome their differences and discover how to share their special space – turning strangers into friends.

“This story is one about friendship, old and new ones, of second chances and the healing power of a meaningful apology,” says Kathy.

Published just in time for autumn – when oak trees begin to change colour – A Tree for Everyone is the perfect seasonal story to spark conversations about kindness, collaboration, and making things right.
