‘Dream on dreamer…”, well not anymore, as foodie dreams come true as Hayal at The St Regis Downtown Dubai rolls out an all-new à la carte menu.
Not only that, if you are dreaming of Turkey, the new menu delivers just that, scrumptious Turkish fare that promise to take you on a multi-sensory journey across this diverse country.
Hayal, just in case you didn’t know, is Turkish for daydreaming, and it is this concept that is being celebrated.
Savour the tastes of Istanbul right here in Dubai at a rather innovative open-kitchen concept where you get to see chefs work their culinary skills.
There’s both indoor and (when the temps dip) outdoor seating.

Hayal’s Head Chef, Mohamed Al Shemali has curated the all-new menu based on the team’s daydreams and childhood memories.
Inspiration is drawn from treasured family recipes to deliver sharing specials, including Salt Baked Whole Sea Bass, Short Ribs Bone-In, Dried Aged Bone-in Ribeye Steak, and Whole Lamb Rack in Bone-in, complemented by a choice of four sides and condiments.
Seafood dishes with a Turkish twist have made the new menu too. Pan-seared Octopus Tentacles, Poached Atlantic Lobster, Lobster Kibbeh, Fried Mussels, Wood Fire Seabream, Grilled King Prawns, and Cured Sultan Ibrahim Fish.
Diners can also indulge in new succulent main courses, each served with a choice of two side dishes, such as Woodfire Corn-fed Baby Chicken, Lamb Loin, Çökertme Kebab, Spicy Grilled Lamb Cutlets, Australian Wagyu Sirloin and Australian Wagyu Beef Tenderloin.
There’s certainly no show without the sweet stuff which you must always make room for.
Choose from Labneh Cheesecake, Meyve Tabagi, Sumac Panna Cotta, and homemade gelatos and sorbets.
Thoughtfully, there’s also a vegan menu offering Baba Ganoush, Roka Zaatar Salad, Pirinç Üzerinde Sebzeler or vegetable stew, Urfu Kebab and Adana Kebab.
