Broadcasting starts from 7 January and every Friday thereafter.
There’s nothing better than tuning into a good old radio show and when that radio show is about Abu Dhabi, then there’s even more reason to tune in and whack up the volume.
Abu Dhabi’s now got a brand-new radio show and it’s hosted by the police. No, not that former English rock band fronted by Sting, but in fact by our very own Abu Dhabi Police.
Beladona Amanah, the name of the new radio show that will be aired every Friday at 2pm on Abu Dhabi FM, will discuss a whole range of community topics.
The show’s also set to highlight Abu Dhabi Police services and how those services are instrumental in maintaining the emirates leading position as the world’s safest city.
In January 2021, Abu Dhabi ranked as the world’s safest city for the fifth consecutive year in Numbeo’s Quality of Life index.
The capital of the UAE scored 88.5 per cent for safety, maintaining the lowest crime score of just 11.5 per cent.
Two other cities in the UAE also scored well on the Numbeo’s Quality of Life index. Sharjah was sixth with a score of 83.59 per cent, followed by Dubai at a score of 83.44 per cent.
