Testing set to become more frequent as students head to the classrooms once again.
It was back to physical school for Abu Dhabi students on 14 February and the authorities have issued new Covid guidelines to ensure their safety.
The new guidelines include periodic PCR Covid testing for students aged 12 and above.

A negative PCR test results should also be presented before returning to school and tests should be taken ‘periodically’.
It was reported that Covid testing will be free for students who are taking it for their school.
Both teachers and school staff must take the Covid test every two weeks, with masks mandatory for students in grade 1/Year 2 and above.
The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) will also conduct 220 inspection visits during the first week of the schools reopening.
