The Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai (RGSGD) has announced the appointment of Matthew Pearce as its new Principal
Mr Pearce joins RGSGD, a British curriculum school, with over 20 years of experience in education and leadership, most recently serving as Rector of The Glasgow Academy, a co-educational day school in Scotland.
His career also includes leadership roles at Bishopbriggs Academy, which was named State School of the Decade by The Sunday Times.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Pearce said: “Together, we will continue to build an environment that nurtures academic excellence, outstanding pastoral care, and the values and skills needed for success in a rapidly evolving world. I am excited to work closely with our pupils, staff, and parents and to make Dubai my new home, embracing all the opportunities the region has to offer.”
He will officially take up his role after the half-term break in February.
