Experienced educator Steve Arnold set to lead Ranches Primary School from August 2025
Ranches Primary School (RPS) has announced the appointment of Steve Arnold as its new Principal, with his tenure beginning in August 2025.
Mr Arnold brings more than a decade of leadership experience in both the UK and the Middle East.
He previously held senior positions at GEMS Education, where he led a region-wide Gifted and Talented programme, and at Orkney Islands Council in Scotland, focusing on curriculum development and inclusive education.
A strong advocate for personalised, pupil-led learning, Mr Arnold said:
“For me, personalised learning means understanding what makes each child unique, what they love, what they’re great at, and where they might need a little extra help, and tailoring our teaching to bring out their best.
I can’t wait to work closely with our families and staff to build on the fantastic things already happening here.”
Mr Arnold’s own children will also be joining the Ranches Primary community.
His arrival comes at a time of continued growth for the school, which is known for its close-knit, community-focused ethos and strong academic foundations.
