UAE leadership reaffirms commitment to education

Khalifa Awards For Education

Education remains a national priority, receiving comprehensive support from UAE’s leadership.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Khalifa Award for Education, has emphasised the paramount importance of education in the UAE.

Under the guidance of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE has established an educational model marked by excellence and high-quality outcomes.

During a televised speech at the 17th Khalifa Award for Education ceremony, Sheikh Mansour highlighted the UAE’s focus on early education, legislative support, and incentives for education professionals.

The Khalifa International Award for Early Learning Field, part of the Khalifa Award for Education program, aims to inspire educators globally.

The ceremony, which also marked the opening of the 3rd Khalifa Award for Education Conference themed “Education as a Pathway from Empowerment to the Future,” was attended by numerous dignitaries, including Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak presented the Distinguished Educational Personality award to HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak (Mother of the Nation), for her contributions to advancing education. The award was accepted on her behalf by Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed.

A total of 41 educators were honoured, with 26 winners from the UAE and 11 from the Arab world.

The event celebrated the significant contributions of these individuals to the education sector, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to fostering educational excellence locally and globally.
