The Ministry of Education extends school registration for the 2025-2026 academic year by one week

The Ministry of Education (MOE) has announced a one-week extension for school registration for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year.

This new deadline, pertaining to UAE public schools, offers parents additional time to complete the registration process, ensuring they don’t miss out on securing a spot for their children in schools across the UAE.

The extended registration period is designed to give parents more flexibility, particularly as they finalize necessary paperwork and complete any outstanding requirements.

This move comes as a response to feedback, acknowledging that families may need more time to manage busy schedules and ensure they meet all the necessary criteria for enrolment.

In a statement shared via Instagram late on Saturday, the Ministry highlighted that this extension is meant to make the process more accessible and convenient for all families.

Whether enrolling a child in kindergarten or preparing for high school, parents now have an extra week to finalise their child’s education plans for the upcoming year.

This extension applies to students across all education levels, from kindergarten to 12th grade.

With this added time, parents can ensure their children’s enrolment without feeling rushed, offering peace of mind as they prepare for the next academic year.

The registration period covers a wide range of schools, including both public and private institutions, allowing families the opportunity to review their options and select the best educational path for their child.

This decision from the Ministry reflects their commitment to making the enrolment process as smooth as possible.

Parents are encouraged to take advantage of this extra time to ensure they don’t miss out on securing their child’s place for the 2025-2026 academic year.

With the extended deadline, families now have more flexibility and peace of mind as they complete the enrolment process.
