From trampolines and time travel to theatre, tech and teamwork, Dubai’s half-term camps are back with fun for all

Just as we finally got into the swing of early alarms, lunchboxes, and remembering which day is swimming, art or Arabic — boom! It’s half-term already.

Whether your child is a budding artist, a natural athlete or a hands-on explorer, Dubai’s October half-term camps offer a great mix of fun, learning and friendship, and, let’s be honest, a much-needed way to keep them happily engaged while we all catch our breath.

When is Dubai’s October half-term break?

If you’re wondering when to swap school bags for camp kits, here are the dates: according to the UAE’s official 2025–26 school calendar, the October half-term break falls between 13 and 17 October 2025 for Ministry of Education (MoE) curriculum schools.

Private schools that follow British, IB, American or other international curricula typically take their mid-term breaks around the same week. However, exact dates can vary slightly depending on each school’s calendar and KHDA approval.

So while it’s always worth double-checking with your child’s school, the week of 13-17 October is the most likely window for families planning half-term fun.
