Students of Abu Dhabi, this is your chance to make a difference with Operation Smile

Looking to put something back into society?  Then don’t miss out on being part of this student initiative.

Operation Smile is calling out for volunteers for its Student U-Lead Forum, taking place in spring.

With projects across the globe to improve children’s health, especially children with facial deformities, a large part of the international charity’s campaigns in Abu Dhabi to raise funds for their work is carried out through book sales of which Yalla Abu Dhabi Life has actually been a part!

Operation Smile is largely run in the capital by volunteers, a large part of them being students and young professionals.

The launch of Operation Smile Students U-Lead Forum is a platform where students in the UAE will be able to work together with students from different schools, cities and even countries on multiple projects.

So students, this is your chance to make a real difference and in the process pick up some valuable skills like leadership and advocacy, team work, critical thinking and see the inner workings of the social sector.

This is a great way to get into the spirit of giving in April, which coincidentally  is also the holy month of Ramadan.

The forum will happen online on Zoom from 8-10 April. Registrations open 21 March to 3 April.
