For the next academic year, school fees in Dubai could increase by 2.6 per cent
School fees in Dubai are set to rise for the next academic year as Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) set the Education Cost Index (ECI) at 2.6 per cent for 2024-2025.
The rate by how much private schools can increase their fees is dependent on its most recent inspection rating under the Schools Fees Framework. The KHDA works closely with Digital Dubai Authority to determine such rises.

Private schools who have remained at their current inspection rating will be afforded the chance to increase their fees by 2.6 per cent, while those schools who have dropped in rating will not be allowed to do so.
The School Fees Framework encourages schools to develop long-term growth plans while contributing to a positive and reliable private education sector that offers families a choice when it comes to the highest quality of education.
