The dates to the Al Dhafra Festival 2023 have been announced

It will be the 16th edition of the festival.

The Cultural Programmes and Heritage Festivals Committee – Abu Dhabi has announced the dates to the 16th edition of the Al Dhafra Festival.

One of the great expressions of Emirati culture, the festival will once again thrill residents and visitors alike from 28 October to 31 January 2023.

A famed part of the emirate’s camel beauty contest season, the Al Dhafra Festival aims to preserve and develop heritage activities, enable camel owners to continue the tradition of breeding and caring for camels and highlight the role of the camel in the UAE’s culture.

Held under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, visitors to the festival can expect camel racing, camel auctions, bustling souks, tasty Emirati cuisine and of course, some of the most beautiful camels in the world.

Full details to the festival have yet to be announced but stay tuned to Yalla UAE for further updates.
