To be held at Manarat Al Saadiyat, the three-day event will explore the theme of ‘A Living Culture’.
From 23 to 25 October, Abu Dhabi is about to be the pinnacle of all things culture.
The 5th edition of this year’s Culture Summit brings an all-encompassing theme of ‘A Living Culture’. Essentially, it aims to reconsider the potential of collectivity, cultivating cultural ecosystems, and embracing culture as a lived experience.
Spanning three days at Manarat Al Saadiyat, visitors can indulge in a myriad of thoughtfully programmed panel discussions, keynotes, presentations, screenings, and conversations. At the helm of it all will be policymakers, researchers, artists, and culture professionals considered to be the elite crop of their respective industries.
Culture Summit 2022 hopes to examine urgent contemporary issues, which include the impacts of digital media and AI, creative ecosystems and indigenous practices, representation, and topographies of public space among many others.
Each day will focus on a different facet of the theme, such as Living Cultural Ecosystems takes on a sectoral perspective; Living in Culture considers people, communities, and futures; while Culture, Identity, Power focuses on diversity.
The extraordinary forum is organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi. In collaboration are global partner organisations, including UNESCO, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Foundation, Economist Impact, Google, and the Design Museum, among other art, technology, and media organisations from around the world.
Gear up for three days of discussions imperative to society’s intellectual growth, and the lived impact of it all.
