The fight will take place at the Etihad Arena.

STORY UPDATED

Arguably boxing’s greatest pound for pound Floyd Mayweather will once again be donning the leather and stepping into the ring in Abu Dhabi this Saturday (21 May).

‘The Best Ever’ was due to fight Don Moore last weekend on top of the Burj Al Arab, however, the bout was cancelled at the last minute as a mark of respect to the passing of the Late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed.

Taking to his social media channels, the 50-0 fighter said; “The fight will take place in Abu Dhabi this Saturday 21 May.

The expected sand storm won’t stop this event. I look forward to putting on a show for all my fans in person and worldwide.

“Stay tuned for more details on tickets and venue”.

Scheduled tomorrow, the fight venue for the Abu Dhabi Unity Boxing Event will be the Etihad Arena with doors opening at 8pm.

Ticket prices beginning from AED 175 and you can purchased you seat online at Etihad Arena.

The fight card will also include former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva as one of the big names ready to demonstrate their knowledge of the sweet science.
