COP28 will be welcoming a very special guest at the start of December when recently anointed King Charles III will be addressing the ‘World Climate Action Summit’ in Dubai.
The British monarch will be speaking at the official opening of the highly-anticipated event, which will also welcome leaders from throughout the world over a two-week period beginning on 30 November.
Other official events he will be participating in include the inaugural COP28 Business and Philanthropy Climate Forum which is a two-day event being run in conjunction with proceedings at COP28.
At a time of huge political tension in the Middle East, it is also believed he will meet with some important regional leaders as well while visiting for the very first time.

He will also be present for National Day celebrations as the UAE celebrates its 52-year anniversary of gaining independence from Great Britain.
