The 11th edition of the comic con has been confirmed for March 2023 in Abu Dhabi.
Men call them geeks, but legends know they’re the truly cultured folk. And it’s for these elite ones that the best time of the year has just been announced!
The 11th edition of the Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) has just been confirmed for March 2023. Running from 3-5 March, this is the second time the event will be hosted in Abu Dhabi.
While Comic Con ws earlier held at Dubai’s World Trade Centre Exhibition Halls, they made a leap to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) for the first time last year. Excited fans and all lovers of culture will have to head to the capital, specifically ADNEC, for the sequel.
From A-lister meet and greets, talks from entertainment icons, theatre, workshops, comic and anime art galleries, and eSports expositions to cosplay parades, there’s a bunch of events and workshops to look forward to.
Last year’s event was huge, including meet and greet opportunities with Charlie Cox — the people’s Daredevil, Nathalie Emmanuel — best known for Game of Thrones, and Michael Rooker — the voice of Yondu Udonta in the Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy series.
Also present was the versatile actor Ming-Na Wen — who has worked as the voice behind Mulan, as Melind May in Agents of S.H.I.E.LD and a whole lore more.
While tickets and pricing details are still awaited, you can head to the mefcc.com website for more details. Until then, “Stand up and walk. Keep moving forward. You’ve got two good legs.”
