Listen up parents of the UAE as we have some smashing news for you.
The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UAEJJ) is offering kids and teenagers, aged between six and 16, an opportunity to channel all that excess energy this summer with the launch of its Jiu-Jitsu Summer Camp.
Running for six weeks until 26 August, the summer camps will feature a range of sports and physical activities for budding Jiu-Jitsu artists that will teach them the basics and techniques of martial art through comprehensive training programmes overseen by experienced and qualified trainers.
Split into beginner and advanced level classes which are scheduled in four daily classes from 9am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday, the camps will take place all over the UAE in Jiu-Jitsu Arena and Fitness facilities in Al Bahia (Abu Dhabi) and for the first time in Mirdif (Dubai) and Al Salamat (Al Ain).
The UAEJJF said it has expanded its summer camps to Al Ain and Dubai as part of its attempts to draw the biggest number of participants at the national level.
Participants have the option to sign up for flexible programmes, allowing them to enjoy classes for one, week, two weeks or even the full six weeks.
