DUBAI CROCODILE PARK: New family destination to open on Eid week

Get up close and personal with one of the world’s largest crocodiles

Dubai’s newest themed destination is set to open with one of the world’s largest crocodiles as the star attraction.

Dubai Crocodile Park at Mushrif Park will be open daily from Tuesday, 18 April, 10am to 10pm, bringing you up close and personal with the famed Nile crocodile. Ticket prices are AED 95 for adults and AED 75 for children between 3 and 12 years old.

Opening just in time for the much-awaited Eid break, the park offers plenty of family-friendly experiences, including a dedicated natural history museum, an African lake-themed aquarium, and large outdoor landscaped areas.

A visit to the park is also a fun way to educate children about the life of crocodiles and their importance in the ecosystem, as the venue hosts specially curated sessions for school trips and a team of expert guides.

There are also plenty of educational panels along the pathways, giving visitors detailed information about the life and history of awe-inspiring animals.

There are also plenty of ways to get a closer look at the park’s famous residents, as the park  offers viewing areas from different angles, including close-up and underwater.

The 20,000-sqm Dubai Crocodile Park is currently home to 250 Nile crocodiles of all ages and sizes, from babies to massive adults. The facility features year-round climate-controlled water specially designed to create an optimal environment for the crocodiles, Dubai Crocodile Park said in a statement.

An excursion to the park would not be complete without a hearty meal with the family, and the venue boasts multiple dining outlets to do just that, complete with a unique African vibe.
